With 993,226 students having participated in the examination, the Ministry revealed that approximately 270,000 students attained a C+ or higher, securing direct entry into universities across the country. The results were released during a ceremony at AIC Chebisaas High School in Eldoret, graced by senior education stakeholders including Education Cabinet Secretary, Julius Ogamba.

How to Check 2025 KCSE Results Online
- Visit the official KNEC website at results.knec.ac.ke.
- Navigate to the ‘KCSE Results’ section.
- Enter your 11-digit index number as it appears on your registration form.

- Click Submit to view your results on the screen. You can also download a copy of your results by clicking the download button.

For those who prefer checking their results via SMS, simply send your index number to 20076. This service costs Ksh25 per SMS.
2025 KCSE Grading System
KCSE results are graded on a scale from A (the highest) to E (the lowest). Special grades like X, Y, and W are also awarded under certain circumstances:
